Drive to Farm Groot Gamsgerg in the Khomas Hochland. From here, the journey continues in an open 4x4 Land Rover onto the Gamsberg Plateau. The drive is exciting and an adventure on its own as the last three kilometres are extremely steep. The optional hike on the west side of the mountain with a view over the Namib Desert is the highlight of the day. Afterwards a picnic lunch is served under the reed covered pergola. Return to Windhoek in the early evening.
