Pack Safari Terms and Conditions

Responsibility
Africa’s charm lies in contrast to Europe, and Namibia’s charm in the difference to other African countries. On first sight communication systems, accommodations, street conditions and vehicles seem in perfect order, yet one cannot compare these with European standards. We strongly suggest that all guests purchase a travel insurance including emergency evacuation, as well as adequate liability and luggage insurance.

Service
We reply to e-mails within one working day to acknowledge receipt thereof. Upon inquiry we compile a quote with a detailed itinerary.

Guided Tours
Guided tours are calculated according to amount of participants and are quoted per person. The overall price includes an appropriate vehicle with all costs, English speaking driver/guide, accommodation, boarding and entrance fees as per itinerary.

Self Drive Tours
For self-drive tours a detailed price list is compiled listing all accommodation, rental car and additional services required. If all
services are booked through Pack Safari an added service is a handbook individually compiled according to the itinerary containing
detailed day-to-day information and directions. The submitted quote is a suggestion and its realisation depends on availability. Due to the strong interest in Namibia this cannot be guaranteed. If alternatives are booked, the overall price will change accordingly. Of course we will credit a price advantage.

Deposit and Payments
Upon booking the Pack Safari quote is accepted and a non-refundable deposit of 10 % of the total quoted price is payable.
The remainder is payable 30 days prior to commencement of the tour. As soon as the payment is reflected on our bank account, we will send all travel documents and vouchers. All payments are to be effected in Namibia Dollars/South African Rand into our bank account, free of any charges and deductions. The bank details will be issued with the invoice. An official bank receipt is required to trace your payment.

Group Policy
90 days prior to arrival we require a provisional rooming list. Should less than 25 % of the blocked rooms be sold, 10 % of the rooms will be released. At this stage a 10 % non-refundable deposit is payable. 60 days prior to arrival an updated provisional rooming list is required.
Should less than 50 % of the original amount of blocked rooms be sold, 25 % of rooms will be released 45 Tage prior to arrival an updated provisional rooming list is required. Should less than 75 % of the original amount of blocked rooms be sold, 50 % of rooms will be released 30 days prior to arrival the final rooming list will be required. Rooms not sold will be released. Full payment will then be invoiced.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are valid when received by office. Fees apply as follows.
Up to 30 Tage prior to arrival – 10 % of total tour price
29 to 22 Tage prior to arrival – 25 % of total tour price
21 to 15 Tage prior to arrival – 50 % of total tour price
14 to 8 Tage prior to arrival – 75 % of total tour price
7 Tage and less prior to arrival – 100 % of total tour price
We strongly recommend purchasing a travel cancellation insurance.
