The Cañon Lodge proudly stands amongst impressive granite boulders in seemingly abandoned surroundings. The beauty of an untouched nature reflects the splendour of the nearby Fish River Canyon. The lodge consists of 30 thatch-roofed bungalows, built with natural rock to enhance the rustic look of the lodge. The main building and restaurant was originally a farmhouse built in 1910. The surrounding landscape provides ample opportunity for hikes or casual walks.
