![]() The Huab Lodge is situated on the banks of the river, where it gets its name from, west of the Etosha National Park, and borders Damaraland in the south. The private game reserve was founded in 1992 and is frequented by the legendary desert elephants. A few yards from the lodge there is a hot spring. For those, who wish to cool off, there is a swimming pool with a sun-deck. The hosts, Suzi and Jan van de Reep, together with their guides show great enthusiasm for the fauna and flora and have an outstanding knowledge of the surroundings, making game and scenic drives in an open vehicle most informative and interesting. Amongst other activities offered, one can go on early morning walks or enjoy optional horseback riding.
