The Elephant Camp lies just outside Victoria Falls on the Woodland Estate. Here a unique Africa experience is offered, namely a safari on ancient game trails on the back of an African elephant. The four elephants Jack, Jock, Jumbo and Miss Ellie grew up between humans and are tame. Already while saddling, the visitor is encouraged to interact with the elephant as much as possible, and hopefully obtain a better insight into their history and day to day life. Safaris are taken in the early morning and the late afternoon and are led by an armed guide on foot.
